Do they think that it still stands up as the classic that it is purported to be or is it another clunker following on from the Planet Of The Dead? All I will say is that for once, they both agree!!

After five and a half years of middling Doctor Who talk and wildly inaccurate discussion about the programme and those who create it, The Three Who Rule reach the amazing milestone of their 300th episode of Radio Free Skaro. It's been an epic ride from virtual obscurity for our first two years of existence to where we are today, and what better way to celebrate this event than the return of the Miniscope! In this instalment, we discuss the work of minor director Nicholas Mallett, whose Doctor Who output ranged from the very worst ("Paradise Towers") to the very best ("The Curse of Fenric"), and everything in between ("The Mysterious Planet"). Given Warren's rampant distaste for the Sylvester McCoy era, surely this will be a painful experience for him...or will it? This is the type of intrigue that has kept this show going for 300 episodes, and will push it into the future for at least a couple more.

Mini Waffle On about Food TV Programmes.

Love them or hate them there is no ignoring them. Food programmes have been dominating the little screen for quite a few years and Kell has finally had enough and vents his annoyance right here on Waffle On while Meds stands up in the kitchen court and defends (at least) some of the programmes.

In this episode, Josh and Ashley cover the first two Big Finish Doctor Who release, The Sirens of Time and Phantasmagoria. After some rambling plot summaries (Look, you try to do a Doctor Who story summary in under 3 minutes!), there's discussion about Multi Doctor stories, a rant about Gallifrey, and a debate on the merits of Historical stories. The Oncoming Storm... mumbling our way into your hearts, one story at a time.

So, how to demonstrate just how good the Audio Go audio releases are... Dave and Siobhan take a look - or a listen - at/to Evil of the Daleks. And to tie in with that, Sobhan has a quick fumble with the Big Finish audio play of The Destructors, the Terry Nation pilot script for his hoped for American tv series.

There's also a bit of nonsensical news. Oh, and WhoCast news... As Stan Lee would say: 'When Cometh The Yoko!'

Well, they can't all be winners. They certainly can't all be huge and epic, either, but "Boom Town" particularly suffers by being bracketed by Steven Moffat's debut and the first in a long line of budget-busting series finales. This cheap-feeling episode has a couple of things to recommend it, however, and it's actually better in 2012 than it was in 2005.
