FeexbyAn amazing two for one offer this week as I and the mighty-and-often-correct Lawrence offer you two commentaries for the price of one.Although they are free so it's also the same as you'd pay for two, none or an infinite number.Zeroes are complicated. Maths is hard.Anyway herewith, men and gentle-ladies, please find a commentary sort of a thing for Aliens Of London the fourth episode of New Who series one first broadcast in 2005.(Taliban is the word we idiotically can't remember. Bigger on the Inside - Episode 125
Bigger on the InsideDan and Mike are old. And grumpy. But that's nothing new. So what is new? A genuinely good Christmas-themed episode of Doctor Who, that's what! Sure, it has flying sharks and an operatic voice that tames the sky, but "A Christmas Carol" has a lot of heart and solid acting. From there the guys lament the Doctor Who-related 2011 National Television Awards sketch, and have fun with the two-part mini-story "Space" / "Time." Please visit www.patreon.com/biggerontheinside.

063 - Troughton Fountain
Arrow of TimeWe go from curmudgeonly grandpa to cosmic hobo this week as we enter round two of our Top Eleven Doctors of All Time (in Chronological Order). Patrick Troughton brought a lot to the role, including his sense of whimsy and ability to walk ten feet without getting winded. And there’s a flute in there somewhere apparently? In any case, we use “The Mind Robber” and “Some Other Episodes, Probably” to take a good look back at the Second Doctor.
For this week’s WhoTube, the colours just keep on babeling with “Babelcolour Tribute: The Cosmic Hobo” - http://youtu.be/1Xm26StUZVY

047: Rose
The Krynoid Podcast"Lots of planets have a north!"
Yes, the grinning, jug-eared bloke from Northern Gallifrey makes his debut in 2005’s seminal legend-resuscitator, Rose.
Everyone’s favourite chav, the eponymous Rose Tyler, has a bronze medal in under-7s gymnastics, a boyfriend who goes from annoying to plastic to basket case in 45 minutes and a Mum who all but twerks at passing strangers.
No wonder she fancies a spot of travel. But first she must deal with plastic non-students, a disembodied arm, an internet weirdo and an angry vat of custard. These things happen when a benevolent alien blows up your job.
So what do Jim and Martin make of their tentative foray into nascent NuWho? Find out here (just don’t mention the belching wheelie bin).

2MTL 321: "New Earth" Two-minute Throwback
Two-minute Time LordThe single clearest indication you can get of what a new Doctor's going to be like won't come around until the second full episode. (This I vow to be self-evident! Unless you disagree with me, at which point it becomes an argument for a future 2MTL!) "New Earth" is the first distraction-free look at David Tennant's and Russell T. Davies's Tenth Doctor, warts and applegrass and all. Note that I gave the episode no extra points for having a character named after me.

A Masterful PodKast!
Kasterborous PodkastChristian Cawley is a writer at Kasterborous Doctor Who News and Reviews - All the latest Doctor Who news and reviews with our weekly podKast, features and interviews, and a long-running forum.
On this week’s Kasterborous podKast (with a “K”) we’re discussing the classic era versions of the Master, namely Roger Delgado and Anthony Ainley – plus a little bit of Peter Pratt, Geoffrey Beevers and Eric Roberts!
If you’re a fan of the modern era, though, don’t worry – Professor Yana himself gets a mention, as does the John Simm incarnation,
In fact, we even go the whole hog and cover the Paul Cornell version of the Master – also played by Derek Jacobi – in The Scream of the Shalka!
Listen as we also discuss the recent TARDIS Environmentals news story and the absurd email we received in connection to it, Peter Davison’s 50th anniversary project and our recommendations for this week!

- Peter Davison/McCoy/Baker 50th film

Listen to the PodKast
There are several ways to listen. In addition to the usual player above, we're pleased to announce that you can also stream the podKast using Stitcher, an award-winning, free mobile app available for Android and iPhone/iPad. This pretty much means that you can listen to us anywhere without downloading - pretty neat, we think you'll agree! (Note that it can take a few hours after a new podKast is published to "catch up".)
What’s more, you can now listen and subscribe to the podKast via our Audioboo channel! Head to http://audioboo.fm/channel/doctorwhopodkast and click play to start listening. You can also comment and record your own boos in response to our discussions!
Meanwhile you can use the player below to listen through Audioboo:
You haven't clicked play yet?! What are you waiting for? As well as our new Stitcher and Audioboo presence you can also use one of these amazingly convenient ways to download and enjoy this week's podKast.
- Use the player in the top right of the Kasterborous home page, or visit the podKast menu link.
- Listen with the "pop out" player above, which also allows you to download the podKast to your computer.
- You can also take advantage of the RSS feed to subscribe to the podKast for your media player, and even find us on iTunes!
Incidentally, if you are listening on iTunes, please take the time to leave a rating and review and help us to bring in new listeners to the podKast!
