This week we find out how the doctor manages to beat those Cyber-Berks FOREVER! It’s a well documented fact, or something. They NEVER return after this episode. Not once. What made them think they could mess with The Trousers? They must’ve been out of their tiny metal minds.

You remember when Cybermen were scary? Like really REALLY scary? We don’t. We’re all WAY to young! We grew up with the 80’s ‘Excellent!’ gold allergic handle heads.

But we have seen the old school creepy voiced proper scary Cybermen since on VHS and DVD! And man! They terrify us.

So how did we manage to laugh all the way through the first two episodes of this story? Cracking jokes about Toblerones and manbags?

That, my friends, is a little something called… friendship.

Our audio troubles are all fixed this week! I’m particularly proud of how this one turned out!

This week we cover a story featuring something called ‘The Daleks’. I’d Never heard of them before but actually found them to be one of The Doctors more compelling adversaries. It’s a shame they only ever featured in this one story arc as I feel they had some potential.

If any listener has heard of these ‘Daleks’ appearing in any spin off novels or Fan fiction or anything, could you let me know? Post a comment at our blog, maybe? It can be found at FRSwitch.blogspot.com I’d love to know more about them.

I’m not keen on that ‘Dave Ross’ fellow though. He needs to take more care of his skin.

Love you all, The Woaf (The biggest and most Knowledgeable Docca Woo Fan EVA!)

Double trouble abounds in this weeks FRS Podcast! Two Nyssa’s? I can’t tell you what I was thinking.

On the subject of trouble we had some technical problems while recording this week. I’ve patched it up the best I can but some of this podcast just sounds extra nasty in places. I’ve patched it up the best I can but I’m still not happy. I think I’ve worked out what happened and can hopefully prevent it happening again. If you have delicate ears you may want to give it a miss, however.

Another reason you might want to give it a miss is Dan Morrison is on again. Oh, AND that bloody Fanton is back. Why won’t he stay dead?

On the plus side that sexy Mr.Weston is as charming as ever and I DON’T fall asleep!

    Not all bad then.

    Love Ya! Woaf xXx

I’m well over Christmas now. How about you? You to, huh? WELL TOUGH!

We’re doing another Christmas episode this week! Not because, at the time of recording I put it in the wrong folder, missed it last week, forgot it existed, posted the wrong episode last week, got told it existed after posting the wrong episode last week, found it, posted it today, wrote a really long sentence explaining why everything is so confusing right now, made everything even more confusing explaining why everything is so confusing right now, totally abused comma’s, drew out a hideously long sentence even further by pointing out the flaws in said sentence, lost the point of said sentence while writing it, realised now I’ve started writing the sentence I have no idea how to stop writing the sentence, started to panic as I things to do today, stopped panicking as I am in control of my own life and can stop writing whenever I like.

Not for that reason at all. For a totally different reason.

  • FRS 29: 'Silver Nemesis' Sylvester McCoy

Helloings! Due to all of the family commitments and retail hell that comes with the season we have had to resort to hitting the vaults for this weeks Fast Return Switch.

We dug out a previously unreleased classic that was recorded all the way back in august before being abandoned for more topical episode coverage. I’ve explained this just so you know that, when we refer to last week we actually mean last august and when we talk about next week we talk about other abandoned plans!

Confused? Me too. I don’t think I’m cut out for time travel at all!

Merry Regeneration! Last week it was the eleventh’s first Crimbo and now we tackle the tenth’s! We had a good laugh doing this one but unfortunately there are a few audio glitches towards the end. No wonder David T spent most of the episode in bed. I can’t blame him, sleeping through Christmas is a tradition in my family. Enjoy the festivities!

  • FRS 26: 'A Christmas Carol' Matt Smith

Merry December, listeners! We’re gonna be all festive for a bit here on FRS. Kicking off the Merriment we cover Matt Smiths inaugural Christmas episode. We Have Messrs Munro, Weston and Woodford chatting dumb over this’un with a ’special’ guest appearance from Dan Morrison. This episode is made extra EXTRA special by the absence of Mr Fanton. I kid, I kid. He’s good people. Merry Cringles!

  • FRS 25: 'Spearhead from Space ' Part Two. Jon Pertwee

    2 December 2011 (10:55am GMT)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 1 hours, 1 minutes and 6 seconds

Wurzel puts his Spear head on once again as we unleash part two of the Pertwee classic. I wasn’t sure why I couldn’t remember the end of this story that clearly. Turns out I fell asleep! Rum was a bad choice. You need not fear though as Masters Fanton, Munro and Weston do a fine job of keeping things entertaining in my unfortunate and slightly embarrassing absence. When will I learn? Probably never.

    Love ya!

    Woaf xXx
