With Tom and Louis continuing their discussion of Season 18, you'd think that this week's episode might be another short one. But you'd be wrong! Because not only do we spend a good amount of time discussing The Keeper of Traken, but starting at about 21:30, we discuss the announcement of Matt Smith's departure.

In this weeks episode, the attentions of Paul and Phil are once again focused on the AudioGo Destiny of The Doctor series with a look at the sixth Doctor story Trouble in Paradise.  What will they make of this story of Christopher Columbus and talking bullocks and will Phil ever recover from his little moment alone thinking about Peri?  But also during the course of this discussion, a history lesson on Christopher Columbus is given and a Peri impression is offered.

Also this week, they talk about their sojourn to the BFI to see The Two Doctors as part of the Doctor Who at 50 celebrations and how disappointed Eric Saward looked to be there.

But in the news, they discuss all the 12th Doctor rumours they missed on last weeks episode and call a 12th Doctor casting rumours amnesty on the podcast, rumours of recovered missing episodes to be released for the 50th, Big Finish's license for Doctor Who has been extended to 2016 and news of a TARDIS being put into Earths orbit (yes you did read that correctly!).

After six months of trying I finally got hold of one of the golden tickets for the British Film Institute's 50th Anniversary events for Doctor Who. This being June it was the sixth Doctor Colin Baker's era being celebrated with a big screen screening of The Two Doctors followed by some interesting panels that I bring you here.

Borrowing from Roger van Oech's books on creativity, I suggest that it's time for DOCTOR WHO to make a brave change in casting the next Doctor because it'll evolve the show in an important direction.

Okay, lesson learned. Never proclaim during recording that everything is back on schedule for the future. Fate will surely step in to make a liar out of you! Now that power has return to Oncoming Storm HQ, Episode 63 can be released! Your hapless hosts, Josh & Ashley, have suffered over the weeks from broken legs to needless 80 hour work weeks... and now it's time they were rewarded! So they are looking at the reputed Big Finish classic The Chimes of Midnight by Rob Shearman. Does it live up to the hype? Well, okay, of course it does. But that doesn't stop Josh and Ashley discussing it with vigor, including talk about the comedy of death, Charley's snobbery, and Josh's overeager fascination with the time paradox. The Oncoming Storm... This time, we've got a sentient house! Ya know, if it had just hooked up with Saul rather then kill all of those people, this all could have been avoided.

With the 4th Doctor Golden Years stuck in the Time Vortex Andy, Derek and a very enlightened guest presenter take a look back at the Peter Davison era. But could this be the most awkward Trial of a companion yet?
