episode 114 - Strangeness in Broadcasting
MarkWHO42 - The Doctor Who PodcastRecently in show 112, we spoke with Sophie Aldred. Not only did she mention her time on Doctor Who, she also mentioned a crowdfunded project called Strangeness in Space. Wanna know more about it? Good news then because you're in luck. We have as a special guest Sophie's friend and partner in Strangeness crime Clare Eden. Not only is she talking about Strangeness in Space, she's also giving us some Whoniverse fun with talk of The Minister of Chance starring two Doctors in the form of Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann, and Paul Darrow of Blake's 7 fame. And there's more Who to be found in the news on this podcast than the Krypton Radio version as we talk actresses who want to be at the controls of the TARDIS and all the spoilers, hints, clues, teases and other little trinkets Moffat has been leaving everywhere as we head towards season 9. MarkWHO42! More reliable than The Mirror! And almost as tasty as Shawarma! (We'd be as tasty as Shawarma, but we still need the tahini...)

Bonus Episode 1: Ray Winninger in Genesis Of The Nerdery - Get Off My World! - A Doctor Who Podcast
Get Off My World
In Bonus Episode 1: Ray Winninger in Genesis of the Nerdery, president of Pagan Publishing Scott Glancy interviews tabletop RPG legend Ray Winninger about his early work on the 1985 FASA Doctor Who role-playing game. A short excerpt from this conversation was included in Get Off My World Episode 17 but we present it here complete and uncut! Things you will hear: Ray talk about his reverential but completely unsupervised use of the Doctor Who license, the influence of FASA’s Star Trek RPG on the Doctor Who game, the pros and cons of realistic game mechanics, and nerdy tangents galore! Things you won’t hear: A terrible story about Tom Baker.

110 - Things on Eyes
Arrow of TimeAnother trailer. Another trailer! I can’t keep up. This is clearly some scheme by the BBC to release the entire ninth season of Doctor Who before it even airs! Nevertheless, it would be remiss of us to let slip the chance to commit our unparalleled speculation skills to the public record via the medium of podcast.
This week’s WhoTube is “12th Doctor Tribute – Echo” from user Simon / Sizmy, who might be two people(!): http://youtu.be/akSGpziKH8s

Episode 243 - The Sandwich of Monte Cristo
Traveling the VortexIn this week’s show, Shaun describes to Keith and Glenn a favorite culinary delight.
But, the important things are the materials for review. First we look at the second issue in Titan Comics‘ Fourth Doctor Event. We give out impression on the Paul Cornell written story with art by Neil Edwards.
Also, we review another pair of Big Finish Doctor Who Main Range titles, beginning with the Sixth Doctor and Evelyn in Medicinal Purposes, followed by Pier Pressure, both written by Robert Ross.
Plus, we’ll get through some news-of-the-week, AND discuss the newly released update to Doctor Who: Legacy, 3.0 from Tiny Rebel Games.
And, of course, your feedback.
Enjoy!

Episode 83: Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle
Trust Your DoctorAnd then like magic, it works! Guaranteed, every time.
This week Kiyan and Dylan return to their regularly scheduled host set-up with just the two of them attempting to explain a serial once again. This week the serial at hand is Terror of the Zygons, which was written by Robert Banks Stewart and aired in August and September of 1975. Harry Sullivan leaves in this episode, so there’s a retrospective at the end of the episode.
This was the base Dylan was referring to. Apparently it appeared in The Spy Who Loved Me, and not the one with the lotus (You Only Live Twice). The Bond Films all kind of blend together at some point.

Flight Through Entirety: A Doctor Who PodcastThis week, we’re off to the planet Karn for wine, cheese and cyanide with Dr Mehendri Solon and his pet brain-in-a-jar Morbius. And Sarah Jane Smith has never had so much fun!
Buy the story!
The Brain of Morbius was released on DVD in 2008. (Amazon US) (Amazon UK)
Notes and links
As usual, the first thing we do with a Hinchcliffe story is to work out which classic horror films it’s, er, paying homage to. This time, it’s the films of James Whale — Frankenstein (1931) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935). James Whale’s own story is told in Gods and Monsters (1998), where he is played by Doctor Who’s very own Sir Ian McKellen. (He did a voiceover in The Snowmen. That totally counts.)
Pieter Bruegel painted three pictures of the Tower of Babel, all of which look very much like Solon’s castle.
Fans of the hilarious way Nathan continually mixes up the names of Doctor Who stories will enjoy how, in his incisive analysis of this season’s terrible flaws, he manages to refer to The Android Invasion as Invasion of the Dinosaurs. And Brendan will try and muscle in on the action later on by calling The Seeds of Doom The Seeds of Death. Aren’t we silly?
For once, Elizabeth Sandifer is not actually responsible for the rule Nathan quotes about canon: it’s part of this brilliant anti-canon rant on the sadly defunct Teatime Brutality blog.

Episode 48....Episode 50 no......
Two girls, a guy and a TARDIS....The Podcast - Nervous Dog ProduMan it's been a long time! To be fair it's hard to do a podcast when a show is only on for 12 or 13 episodes a year, plus we've all had pretty busy summers. Anyway, in this show we discuss some Doctor Who news, talk about our hopes for the series and compare Capaldi's regeneration to Colin Bakers. So thanks for sticking with us and enjoy!
