Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who PodcastEmotions are complex and most often unpredictable catalysts for change. Our minds process and choose to react to events with a series of chemical releases and electrical charges, and just as we are individual in our personalities and identities, so are our responses to intense situations. What would happen if the nature of our reactions were in some way tied to those of another? Not in the sense of empathy, but actual physical and emotional pulls driven by a completely separate entity? “Loss […]

Bonus Episode: MarkWHO42's CLASS in Session - Final Exam (NSFW-ish)
MarkWHO42 - The Doctor Who PodcastClass has premiered all around the world (well, most of it. The US won't have it until April 2017) so MarkWHO42 has seen it. We have been reviewing 2 episodes every other week in bonus episodes for the last 2 months. We took on this task in the form of, duh, a class with pop quizes on each story by headmaster Mark Baumgarten. Now it's the end game and the Final Exam! We have our two regular students: Christian Basel of MarkWHO42 & The Legend of the Traveling TARDIS and Iggy Mathews of Let's Be Reelz with the topics of episode 5: Brave-ish Heart, episode 6: Detained, episode 7: The Metaphysical Engine, Or What Quill Did, and episode 8: The Lost! This is a very funny and informative way of reviewing the last four episodes of the very adult-oriented BBC Three Doctor Who spinoff Class! And at the end, Professor Mark gives his theory of who the Governors really are... Plus Christian gives his opinion of what the show should have been... One word of warning though... Make sure you have watched the last four episodes of Class or you will be sent to detention full of Spoilers!!!!

Doctor Whooch // Episode 105 // Tell Us When Quill Is Back
Doctor WhoochIn which we're extremely late with this but -\_(tsu)_/-
On this episode, Danica and Brandon tackle "The Detained" - the 6th episode of Class. It involves truth rocks that'll burn your brain and spill your teen feels all over the place. Which is bad, for a room filled with teen feels.
Outro music is "Detention" by School Gyrls.
Because why not.

MUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast 113 - Power of the Daleks Episode 3
Mutter's Spiral PodcastMUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast returns to continue with our recap of "Power of the Daleks"; this week, we tackle episode 3. Pieces are starting to fit into place, and we are seeing just what is going on in the colony on Vulcan. We discuss all of that, and we add our overall impressions.
Also, I (Will) have embarked on a full new Series rewatch, including Doctor Who Confidentials. I'll talk about my early impressions from this rewatch (I'm through "Dalek").
Bite-sized episode (for us) this week, as we know everyone's trying to watch what they eat over the holidays! Come join us!

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 79, The Aztecs Part 3
Doctor Who - The High CouncilThis is not your everyday Classic Doctor Who Part 3. As Simon, Andrew and Josh embark on The Bride of Sacrifice, we all realize that the usual Part 3 run-around does not appear in The Aztecs, and we jump in with great excitement as the story does move forward significantly here.
That said, we all try out our Mexican accents Salamander style and while enjoying this episode, and do our level-best to imitate David Collings doing Vorus from Revenge of the Cybermen.
While The Doctor gets engaged to a woman 30 years his junior, we marvel at the great pensioner extras. Do join us for the banter! And is Greta Garbo dressing the actors for this??

The Sonic ToolboxHere we review "The Doctor's Daughter". This is also the last recording before The Great Illness of The Fall of 2016. We're really grateful for your patience and support in our long absence from your feeds. Daisy was sick for almost 6 weeks with some unknown, non-deadly, annoying, cold/flu like ick and just didn't have the energy to edit and post. Then came the make up work for work, which again, took time away from this show. Life is finally getting back to mostly normal and Daisy is once again able to do her podcasterly job. We thank you for your support.

Episode 146: Bible of the Daleks
Trust Your DoctorYou know eventually they’ll make Bible of the Daleks because there’s only so many words you can use for ___ of the Daleks.
Here come the Daleks again. Is there some sort of unwritten pact that they have to appear for every doctor? Because they have so far. At least for us, I’m not counting the reboot (yet). It’s Revelation of the Daleks, written by Eric Saward and aired in March of 1985.
Show-notes:
7:56 The Star Wars Holiday Special, largely regarded as one of the best 3-course dinners of all time, was aired only once on November 17, 1978 B.C. Written, directed, produced, and baked to a golden brown by the artists formerly known as George Lucas and Jar Jar Binks, it has been made widely available in a number of different formats, such as VHS, Blu Ray, Laserdisc, pdf, and cereal box activity. You can check out the Holiday Special in all its glory here.

19:13 Barrow just changed its name back to Utqiagvik.
20:20 According to this site, countries that list an indigenous American language as an official language are Bolivia, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela. It doesn’t list Greenland, but it’s one too, and there are probably more.
24:27 Yeah, looks pretty cool.
