The lads have a treat for you this month. Starring Oliver Reed, Jill St John and Ian Mcshane, Sitting target is a brutal 1970's movie of revenge. Its gritty style offers an insight to realistic city British life. Recently mentioned by Quentin Tarantino as one of his favourite British films he is not wrong.

This week my Doctor Who re-watch reaches that strange no man’s land between the classic series and the new series. The 1996 TV Movie a co-production between the  BBC, Fox and Universal. An American production, mostly filmed in the Canadian city of Vancouver. It was however written by a british writer Matthew Jacobs and directed by british director Geoffrey Sax.

Produced as a backdoor pilot for a possible series some plans for which were created.

Peter’s dreaming about the Aplan, James is wishing he hadn’t worn these heels, Nathan is wondering if he left the mortars in the nave or the vestry, and Simon is admiring the low lighting and the sombre vaulted ceilings. It turns out our dreams no longer need us, so this must be The Time of Angels.
