Welcome to Episode 22 you lovely lot. This time around we have news and a few shout outs as well as our usual review section. This episode we review amongst others, Sea Lord Akwa by Dominic Regan, the graphic novel adaptation of a Ray Bradbury classic as well as Indifference Engine by Cy Dethan.

MUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast returns with a trip to the distant past... and the far future! John & Will talk about the 1964 William Hartnell classic "The Dalek Invasion of Earth". There's talk about how it was filmed then v. now, the different viewing experience of the older shows, some great trivia questions along with LOTS of news about Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane and even Sherlock! Take a listen!

We open our doors with welcome arms to Eric and Josh from the "Mostly Harmless Cutaway" podcast as we review -- between sloshes and swirls -- that old Tom Baker favorite, "The Masque of Mandragora."

Did "Doctor Who" have a "gay agenda" even back then?  Can Mandragora energy pilot the TARDIS without anyone knowing?  Can you ever have enough wigs?  And how does the Doctor walk away with nothing but a handful of sausage?  We touch on all these subjects (or at least stumble around them) as we put this compelling historical story under the microscope.

Hey! It's the fourth episode of the new Cloister Room podcast, a podcast about Doctor Who and other things.

• Once in a while we get talked into doing something we really don't want to do. This is one of those times. What follows is yet anohter excursion into that place we should really stop visiting: 'The Insomnia Zone.' Apparently inspired by a combination of his recent outing to see the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World AND a recent [excellent] parody of MHC in The @PharosProject podcast ep 19 (24:09), Julian sought to live up to his tagline and produce a little bit of shite poking some fun at the podcast while being ALL ABOUT HIM at the same time.
• Improvisational dialog was provided by @Braxietel. All the other [important] crap, ie soundesign [that took inordinate man-hours] was produced by @Bullitt33.
  

WARNING:

• That's right kiddies; As this came from the deprived mind of Braxietel it does contian EXPLICIT thoughts & language. Hide the Time Tots.

As widely reported, Steven Moffat announced at the MediaGuardian Edinburgh TV Festival 2010 that rather than a single 13-episode series of Doctor Who in 2011, we'll get two shorter series in the spring and fall. Related pros, cons, speculation and unreasonable demands lie within!

So it’s come to this… the final installment of the summer Classic Series Commentary series has arrived, and oh what an arrival it was. Delta and the Bannermen gets put through one end of the RFS grinder and goodness only knows what will come out the other end. Warren’s notorious hatred of Sylvester McCoy’s tenure underlies the episode, but what did he think of the story when all was said and done? Add to that the collective pants-wetting over the upcoming release of The Seeds of Doom on DVD and pretty much the entire gamut of human emotion comes through in this episode of Radio Free Skaro!
