Tim's Take On: Episode 175(Dalek Day at Hammersmith)
Tim's Take On...Emergency temporal shift! Appolgies if you were expecting Dick Mills this week, he's been kidnapped by Daleks of the 60s variety, but I hear he'll have escaped in time for next week's show. Change of schedule because last weekend I attended a special screening of the Peter Cushing Dalek movies in Hammersmith, West London there was cake, merchandise and two special guests actor Ray Brookes "The Man With The Knack" from Daleks Invasion Earth 2150AD and producer/director Kevin Davies maker of the documentary Dalekmania, tribute was also paid to Peter Cushing who would have been 100 this week(hence the cake)
If you want to send me comments or feedback you can email them to tdrury2003@yahoo.co.uk or contact me on twitter where I'm @tdrury or send me a friend request and your comments to facebook where I'm Tim Drury and look like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/tdrury/3711029536/in/set-72157621161239599/ in case you were wondering.

The Oncoming Storm Ep 61: THE Andrew Cartmel Interview part 1
The Oncoming StormThe Oncoming Storm episode 61 sees Josh triumphantly returning from Timegate, his weary arms full of audio gold after an exhausting convention. And who is he going to celebrate this with this week? Why, It's ... just Ashley, hobbling along as he returns from breaking his leg. Both host's weeks are discussed before turning the episode over to the one and only Andrew Cartmel! Yes, Josh was able to ply Mr. Cartmel with a nice dinner in order to sit down for a lengthy interview about Andrew's career in Doctor Who, after the show was off the air. This week in part 1, Andrew talks about the days right after the show went off the air and his days writing for Virgin. Be prepared to hear a lot of details about the entire War trilogy, so beware potential spoilers if you're like Ashley and not read all of these books yet! The Oncoming Storm... this time, we've got a honest to God Doctor Who Script Editor! Not that we, um, ask any questions about script editing.

PodKast with a Series 7 Summary!
Kasterborous PodkastChristian Cawley is a writer at Kasterborous Doctor Who News and Reviews - All the latest Doctor Who news and reviews with our weekly podKast, features and interviews, and a long-running forum.
In this week’s slightly-later-than-usual podKast with a “K”, the full team of Christian, Brian and James discuss the highs and lows of Doctor Who Series 7, comparing all episodes from The Bells of Saint John through to The Name of the Doctor.
What will prove particularly interesting is just how the episodes are judged at the end, when we apply a 1960s Saturday tea time Jukebox Jury “Hit or Miss” rule to each…
Will The Name of the Doctor prove to be our favourite episode? Will The Rings of Akhaten turn out to be still loved, two months on?
Could it be that only four episodes are unanimously admired by the team?
Well what are you waiting for? Click the play button to find out!
What are you waiting for? Use one of these three ways to download and enjoy this week's podKast now!
- Use the player in the top right of the Kasterborous home page, or visit the podKast menu link.
- Listen with the "pop out" player above, which also allows you to download the podKast to your computer.
- You can also take advantage of the RSS feed to subscribe to the podKast for your media player, and even find us on iTunes!
Incidentally, if you are listening on iTunes, please take the time to leave a rating and review and help us to bring in new listeners to the podKast! We are now offering a free wall climbing motorbike especially for you, dear listener, if you can help us to raise our profile! That's right - you too surprise Miss Kizmet with a big hole scooped out of the back of your head!!
Yes, dear listener - you. What other podcast would give you that?
Oh and one last thing: it would seem that James’ rant in the Nightmare in Silver podKast has proved rather popular – someone, somewhere has been sharing it, to such an extent that we’ve seen a massive number of listens (three times the usual) for that single podKast!
So welcome to all of our new podKast subscribers, we hope you stick around!

Episode LXXXVII: Maximus Pettulian
The TARDIS TavernStudies show that it has been a hell of a long time since we talked about a First Doctor story (see our episode on "The Time Meddler") and even longer since it was an episode about a historical First Doctor story (go way back to one of the hokiest episodes ever of The TARDIS Tavern, in which we pan "The Gunfighters"). So there was no time like the present to review "The Romans", with the First Doctor, Ian, Barbara, and Vickie.
Of course, we can't help but talk about the latest and last installment of Series Seven, "The Name of the Doctor". Oh, my. Like oh, fucking my!
Look for us on Facebook, email us feedback at tardistavern@gmail.com (we'll read it out loud if we're sober enough), and follow Sean on Twitter via @tardistavern. I think Steve can be followed via @tardistaverntit.

057 - Bringing the Hurt
Arrow of TimeThe last episodic outing before Doctor Who’s golden anniversary attempts to answer the oldest question in the universe: “What’s all this, then?” Failing that, it aims to reveal “The Name of the Doctor” and botches that one pretty squarely as well. It finally settles on giving us surprisingly loud Whisper Men and a distinct lack of chair throwing, along with something about what Clara’s deal is? I don’t know, I was distracted by space hair.
