So sorry about the long hiatus between episodes, it was supposed to be two weeks, then stuff came up and it ended being three, well and a few days since I edited it and forgot to post it on Monday!  But thanks for sticking with us!  While there was no time space continuum destroying news the last couple of weeks, we still found things to talk about.  We discuss The Three Doctors, The Five Doctors and Earthshock this week.  We discuss the some of the differences between the new and old Cybermen, we get derailed as usual and spend some time talking about old Doctors and Companions and finally we recommend some classic episodes for Joanna to watch.  So thanks for waiting and thanks for listening!

And this week, the focus is on Seasons of Fear by Paul Cornell and Caroline Symcox. As the Doctor and Charley get caught up in the web of time, your hosts Josh and Ashley take some time to discuss the story, then wildly spin off into tangents about Charley vs Lucy Miller, the Eighth Doctor BBC novel range, and time paradoxes. They do get back around to talking about the story... eventually. Now if only they could go back in time and eradicate this timeline somehow and do an actually good show! The Oncoming Storm... This time, 3! I have seen 3 Nimon! THE NIMON BE PRAISED!!!

The one heralded by many jaded fans as marking the exit of the Jar-Jar Binks of classic Doctor Who. Not only that, but this return of the Cybermen since their last appearance in "Revenge of the Cybermen" is considered by many as one of the crowning moments in JNT's reign as the show runner.

But are fans too quick to celebrate Matthew Waterhouse's final episode? Is the story all that it's cracked up to be? Is it just another example of 1980's Who parading tired old villains onto the screen for the sake of longtime fanboys? Listen and find out...maybe.

This week’s Kasterborous podKast with a “K” sees the full team of Brian, Christian and James getting together to mull over the recent topics in the Doctor Who world.

We start off with a chat about the appearance of the replica of the original TARDIS console from Mark Gatiss’ An Adventure in Space and Time at the Paris Comic Con (it will later be seen at the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff) before chatting about the frankly insane “news” that Michael Jackson and Bill Cosby were names suggested for a US production of Doctor Who in the 1980s.

But the highlight this week is probably a chat with Richard Kirby, author of the rather wonderful Desperately Seeking Susan Foreman, an account, complete with brief reviews of stories, of one man’s quest to find autographs from all of the Doctor’ female companions (and not, as we mention before the interview, every single companion). Richard is fascinating to speak to, and it’s always great to feature a guest. I wonder WHO we might have next time…?

They’ve finally managed to do it. After years of trying,  Ian and Michele have finally broken out of  the Campervan annex and have ‘peacefully occupied’ the Executive Recording Lounge! The reason for this incursion however is valid as they’ve found a Dalek to interview. And this is no ordinary Dalek either – it’s none other than Barnaby Edwards who has been operating various Skarosians for nigh-on twenty years.  And if that wasn’t enough, Ian and Michele review The Spectre of Lanyon Moor, an early Big Finish play starring Barnaby and written by fellow Dalek operator, Nicholas Pegg.

The interview was recorded at Big Finish Day 3 – thanks again to Big Finish and 10th Planet Events and of course to both Tony Whitmore and Laura Cowen.

The Three Who Rule went west to Westercon this week, special guests of the 66th edition of one of the longest running science fiction conventions in the world. Much fun was had, much sun was enjoyed, and all three of the RFS hosts were very active on a variety of panels throughout the weekend. One such panel devoted to the history of Radio Free Skaro is presented in this episode, in which the past seven years of RFS podcasts are recounted, the highs, the lows, from humble beginnings to the recent triumphs of today (what other podcast has had a commentary of Delta and the Bannermen, we ask you?).
