A bit late to the feed, but back in the heady days of 2013, Alan, Derek and Andy sat down to talk about how the 50th anniversary started with a bang when Big Finish released their anniversary story, The Light at the End.

For this Half we take a break from mourning the 11th and go back to a happier time. One episode back, exactly. Matt sits down once again with Kate and Kelley to reminisce about what the theatrical experience of the 50th was like. Everything from the on screen trivia to the intense fans who answered the call (but didn’t answer the call of routine bathing). So grab your mail order sonic screwdriver, pull up those TARDIS leggings from Hot Topic, and glue that egg beater on to your homemade Dalek costume, ’cause we’re about to take you to the epicenter of the multiplex.

In case you didn’t get a chance to catch it in theaters, here is a clip of the fun theater etiquette with Strax followed by the “put your glasses on” speech that the Doctor gives, that way you won’t be in the dark, or you will be, I don’t know how it works for movies…

In this week’s podcast we head back to the Fourth Doctor era with two stories from the scarfed one. First, we take a look at the second Big Finish Fourth Doctor audio, The Renaissance Man. Then, a peek in at the story that introduced Adric to the world with Full Circle, taking us into our first adventure in E-Space.

Plus, a look at the news of the week, including some terrific announcements for not just Series 8, but a glimpse into the future of the show with Series 9.

Also, we’ll touch briefly on some new additions to The Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff.

It’s finale time! Sherlock is ending its third season, and you know what that means…something epic, for sure. Smaller on the Outside also ends its second season here. This time around, we’re really introduced to the new baddy…but how does he compare to Moriarty? I guess we’ll find out.

Smaller on the Outside is a TV podcast dealing with different shows each season. The first season of SOTO was about Doctor Who, and this season dealt with the most recent season of BBC’s Sherlock.

It's Episode 118 and we're talking about The Twin Dilemma. Since we just had a regeneration, we figured it was a good time to examine a post-regeneration story and what better one than the Doctor's 6^th. Since it looked like our new (Peter Capaldi) Doctor seems to be suffering with post-regen memory loss we wanted to take a look at past regen that went thru not just memory loss a drastic personality change, as well, just in case.

The Twin Dilemma is one of those polarizing stories in Doctor Who history. It seems either you love it or hate it. The vast majority seem to hate it. Here in the Toolbox, we have a split, which works out wonderfully to give you a fair look at this controversial story. Also, Daisy gets completely confused trying to count in hexadecimal (which she hasn't done in 20 years) while Cheryl falls into a small coma.

All this and rabbit chasing, too!

The Three Who Rule eventually focused their energies and relayed what little Doctor Who news eked out this week, including such gems as new guests for Gallifrey 2014 (and the lineup for our own live show on Friday, February 14th), the return of friend of the show Phil Ford to Doctor Who, and other assorted newsy morsels.

All mere preamble to a commentary recorded this summer at Westercon for "Silver Nemesis". We’re not saying our commentary is good, but rest assured it is better than the story itself, so have a listen to it, won’t you?

The Eight Doctor and Charley have found themselves in New York City, just in time for Halloween 1938 and the infamous broadcast of Orson Welles' The War of the Worlds. Of course with the Doctor's luck they run into a dead body the moment they arrive and naturally there is a real invasion going on. Though no matter what the title says, they aren't from Mars.

As an added bonus we also take some time to Talk/Rant about the recent regeneration story, so if your spoiler adverse you might want to jump ahead to about 11:07.
