This month we turn our sights on BBC's Past Doctors Adventures with Loving the Alien, a novel featuring the Seventh Doctor and Ace by Mike Tucker and Robert Perry.

Mike Tucker might best be known for his model work on the current televised series, but he has written a plethora of books, including Ace! with Sophie Aldred, a number of novels with the Seventh Doctor and Ace in the BBC range, and two novels featuring the Tenth Doctor in the New Series Adventures. Tucker also co-write Illegal Alien with Robert Perry, who has written for such television shows as EastEnders and Family Affairs.

Ace is dead. Or at least she will be - soon... In a secret room deep inside the TARDIS the Doctor has been examining the body of Ace's future self. He knows how she was killed, where she was killed and when she was killed. What he doesn't know is why...

To find the truth the Doctor makes a dangerous decision and takes the unsuspecting Ace to the very time and place of her death, hoping to cheat Time and find her killer before he can strike - but Time has other ideas. With Ace missing and the clock ticking the Doctor turns to old friends for help and finds that there is unfinished business for him to deal with.

What is the secret experiment being conducted by the British Rocket Group? Why are giant ants appearing in the suburbs of 1950s London? Who is the mysterious figure that is watching the Doctor's every move?

As events spiral out of control the Doctor realises that someone is manipulating time with careless disregard for the consequences to Ace - or the rest of the universe...

We can hardly believe it’s been nine years since the Ninth Doctor first graced our TV screens! In honor of this momentous occasion, we thought that we would try something new: a retrospective on all of the Doctors! We love talking about them! They’re all fantastic, even Crotchety Grumpmire the First and Freakadoo Weirdson the Sixth (not their real names, obvs). So settle in, grab a gin and tonic, rum and Coke, or some dynamic combination thereof, and enjoy as we take you through all of space and time again for the first time.

In a stunning feat of temporal ineptitude, the episode that should have been episode 85 is episode 87, and vice versa. Anyway. Tom and Louis are brought in their random wanderings to a Fourth Doctor classic, the Masque of Mandragora. Opinion is divided. But who will side with reason, and who will side with primitive superstition? Only one way to find out...

We've all done it. Facebook posts have been dedicated to discusing it. There have probably even been panels at cons on the subject. This week we tackle the topic of fantasy TARDIS crew building. Like chefs in the kitchen, we're taking a pinch of him, a dab of her, putting them together and seeing what comes out.

After ending on a cliffhanger last week, find out how Phil, Paul and Tony escaped the evil mechanical clutches of Robot Tony!  Oh, there is also the small matter of the 2nd part of their audio commentary for The Brain of Morbius episodes 3 & 4.  So cue more Condo jokes, more passing comments on the Baker Bulge and they also muse on an adults only version of the podcast.

We look back at Rose. Not just the story but the character. As life-long fans of the series, we reminisce about how we were able to see the story early but also our initial thoughts at the time and how we loved every minute of it. We are The Others. Fantastic!
