Doctor Whooch // Episode 056 // More Cats Is The Answer
Doctor WhoochIn which we sit in an empty apartment, and say good-bye. To the apartment. We will probably never stop getting drunk and watching Doctor Who. So.
In this week's episode, we watched "Army of Ghosts" and "Doomsday", which included not-Martha Jones and a good-bye to Rose Tyler. It was awesome, and we got all of the feels pretty hard. We also slur through what we think the difference between Moffet twists and Davis twists are, so that's a thing too. Also, cats? Maybe! Mad Max? Also probably! We were drunk, you'll probably remember more than we do.

Verity! Extra! - Chicks Dig Queers Dig Time Lords
Doctor Who: Verity!Apparently it's book season at Verity! For this week's Extra we bring you yet another book review. Join Deb, Erika, Liz, and Tansy as we discuss what we thought of the latest of the "geek chronicles" from Mad Norwegian Press, Queers Dig Time Lords: A Celebration of Doctor Who by the LGBTQ Fans Who Love It.
As you may expect, we don't agree about what types of essays we like best, but we do agree that this is an excellent addition to anyone's Doctor Who nonfiction library. If you want to check out one example of what you can find in it, take a gander at Rachel Swirsky's "The Girl Who Waited (for the Guidance Counselor to Get to His Point)". Though as we point out, the essays in this book run the gamut, so there's something for everyone!

Who's He? Podcast #86 Two drifters, off to see the world
Who's He?At the second time of asking, Phil and Paul are giving it another go with Smith and Jones, the season 3 opener. This time they are bit more with it but get easily sidetracked along the way with a discussion on the Doctor kissing his companions - does it still shock or is it old hat now? Phil also manages to get in an impression of Terry Scott and during the recording Paul is visited by the ghost of Jon Pertwee.
And in the news this week, a few items on the 50th Anniversary including events at the BFI next year, Christopher Eccleston being coy about his involvement and what's going on with the good Doctor at Christmas this year with a quick rundown on what ex-Whos stars are appearing in panto this year. And there's also a brief return of Omegas Tat Corner! Just watch out for John Barrowman in panto this year, he'll have your eye out.

Radio Free Skaro #339 - Light Work And Dark Eyes
Radio Free SkaroThe Three Who Rule were reunited (and it felt so good) with Steven's return from Chicago TARDIS…bearing the gift of an interview with Nick Briggs, Jason Haigh-Ellery, and Paul Spragg, whose sterling work in the dramatic audio arts can be appreciated by all and sundry at www.bigfinish.com. News was sparse this week as we enter the calm before the Christmas Special storm, but numerous puzzling references to Ke$ha, a quite sweary Warren and 15 minutes of nonsensical pre-game banter padded out the proceedings nicely.
