    Flashpoint was read by co-host Kenny Smith's favourite, Sheridan Smith, so we have a chat with the range producer Ian Atkins, and writer Andrew Smith, about how Lucie Miller's return to Doctor Who came about. 

    We should point out that Becca is also part of the Smith family, as her dad is one.

    EPISODE four of Pieces of Eighth sees us joined by an actor who has encountered Paul McGann's Doctor in two very different roles.

    Seán Carlsen was first cast in The Natural History of Fear, in which he played a variety of roles, and made an impression producer/director Gary Russell, who subsequently cast him as CIA Co-ordinator Narvin in the Gallifrey spin-off series.

    Narvin has since become one of Big Finish's most beloved original creations, and Sean joins us to share his experiences of working with Paul McGann and Sir Derek Jacobi, as well as meeting War Doctor Sir John Hurt.

    Kenny and Becca are Doctor Who fans. 

    He's been a fan since 1978, and Becca was born in 1995, so their experiences of the show are completely different.

    But something they both love is the Eighth Doctor, played by Paul McGann. In this podcast series, they will travel through time and space, finding the many different aspects of this incarnation of the Doctor who was only seen twice on TV - but has had more original adventures than virtually any other Doctor in different spin-off media.

    So, get to know the pair of them, as Becca (in their podcast debut) and Kenny (editor of Big Finish's Vortex, and co-host of The Power of 3 podcast) crash land in San Francisco, on December 31, 1999... There's been a shooting - someone had better call a Doctor...
