Verity! Episode 40 - Doctor Who Villains: The Estrogen Adventures
Doctor Who: Verity!Deadly divas, anyone? This week our villainous discussion centers on the ladies. For a change, we have a jumping off point--and it's VAM! (That's "value-added material", as in DVD extras.) Join Deb, Erika, Lynne, and Tansy as we discuss one of the extras on the Shada DVD set. (Spoiler: We're much more excited about this one than the last one we talked about.) What does it mean to be a diva? Do all the female baddies on the show (and included the extra) qualify? Our discussion ranges beyond "Those Deadly Divas", so if you haven't seen it, don't fear, there's plenty here for you too. Add our "happy-Who-things", plus a special announcement, and you've got yourself a rollicking episode of Verity!
Oh, and shout-out to the iTunes review that inspired this week's title.

It's wrong to wish on space hardware
Who's He?After what feels like an eternity, Phil and Paul finally round off their series 3 retrospective with a look at The Last of The Time Lords. Yes it's the turn of probably the most least regarded series finale in existence that the hosts of this podcast wish they could forget. However, amongst the ire and general bile, they do manage to have some fun along the with actors pulling stupid faces, the Doctors impression of Mr. Burns and at long last they read out an email sent from a listener nearly a year ago.
And in the news this week, Ben Miller joins the cast of series 8, Day of The Doctor is up for a pointless award which brings back childhood horror for Phil and in a massive edition of Omega's Tat Corner there are all sorts of nick-nacks to tickle your fancy which also gives Phil and Paul a great idea for a TV show.

Ep-27: Fingers to Lips
Playing Doctor: A Doctor Who PodcastChildren have gone missing from a chilly London suburb and they’re not visiting the London Olympics. This week we are joined by Tommy V and Lauren to help us discuss the cold summer Olympics set in the crazy future year 2012.
In a rare editorial move, we’re lifting the curtain and letting you see a glimpse of In the Console room. Before the show starts (and even after the credits) you’ll get to hear a bit of the pre-show debauchery and see what it takes to get everyone on the same page and get the show started.
Most agree this isn’t the best episode of Doctor Who and at some point we may get a little distracted while talking about the episode. No worries because when Tommy V gives us the “Tom Baker Eyes” and Lauren starts inappropriate relations with Simba the only thing left for Jennie and Ben to do is put Fingers to Lips.

PODCAST 009 - ATLANTIS
Diddly Dum PodcastThis week, the Diddly Dum Podcast comes to you from The Gore Crow Hotel, made famous by its appearance in the Seventh Doctor story, “Battlefield”. As Morgaine the Sunkiller and her minions from 165 Eaton Place attempt to break through the protective chalk circle drawn around the podcasters’ bar table, the Three Who Drool ponder the theme of myths and legends in Doctor Who – specifically the use of the Atlantis legend.
In between discussing the Second Doctor story “The Underwater Menace” and the Third Doctor story “The Time Monster”, Al recalls recently meeting Tom Baker and being boomed at by the great man, Doc tells of coming across a relic from Delia Derbyshire’s schooldays and The Rev provides vital road safety tips.

The Oncoming Storm Ep 100: BF #100 - (100) Days of Podcasting
The Oncoming StormBreak out the booze and party favors! Throw on your fancy dress! It's time to celebrate! We've rolled out the red carpet for The Oncoming Storm's 100th Episode! That's right, in fine media tradition, we're being all self congratulatory and self important as we toast the most important things in our lives... us! But since the listeners may want some actual content, we don't stop there. Josh, Ashley, Rachel, and Sacha take a look at 100, the anthology release from Big Finish by Jacqueline Rayner. Robert Shearman, Joe Lidster, and Paul Cornell. How well do a bunch of single episodes work around the theme of 100? Join in on the party and find out! The Oncoming Storm... This time, we're 100! Please excuse the self indulgence. We're centenarians now. Sometimes you just have to let the old farts have their fun.
