Episode 129: When David Met Georgia
The TARDIS TavernWith things settling back to normal around the Tavern (and we've redecorated - do you like it?), we decide to invite one of our perrenial favorite guest bartenders, Chris Burgess of Radio Free Skaro fame.
We asked Chris what his least five favorite episodes were and, after narrowing them down to the one that would involve the least amount of time in preparation, we watched and discussed "The Doctor's Daughter", featuring the Tenth Doctor, Donna, and Martha. Steve's Doctor Who Trivial Pursuit makes a comeback as well, proving once again that the writers of the questions strove to simultaneously insult our intelligence and make us feel like we know nothing.
Oh, a little sidenote...this was recorded immediately after the Superbowl, so all of us were already quite loaded before we hit the "Record" button. That being said, The TARDIS Tavern accepts no responsibility or liability for anything said by any of its guest bartenders.
Look for us on Facebook or send us email at tardistavern@gmail.com. You can also follow Sean on Twitter via @tardistavern and Chris via @dubbayoo.

The Others Episode 10 Revenge of the Cybermen
The Others PodcastThe Others Episode 10. Revenge of the Cybermen.
Inspired by Revenge of the Cybermen to be the first story released on VHS, The Others takes this installment to talk about the evolution of the home video market from back in the day to present day. A lot of time is taken on reminiscing about collecting the stories on many varieties of formats both in PAL and NTSC. Don't be frightened, it is not a very technical conversation which is evident by the explanation of physically hacking a DVD player to play Region 2 DVDs in 2000.
Aided by a mediocre wine at best, this is the first installment of looking back at a story from Season 12 that is fondly remembered. Back in the day when it was okay for Cyberleaders to put their hands on their hips like they just don't care! We are The Others.
The Others is not recommended for people who don't like swearing or are easily offended.

The Doctor is dreaming, Clara is dreaming, Danny is still a dead soldier and Father Christmas likes a bit of Ho, Ho, Ho at night. But enough of their problems, please sit down with us to enjoy Last Christmas...

Tim's Take On: Episode 265(Doctor Who: The Celestial Toymaker mini review)
Tim's Take On...This week my classic series mini reviews reach Doctor Who: The Celestial Toymaker, not an easy story to review as most of it is missing and the plot is quite visual, certainly writing wise it’s Dr Who as a children’s show which isn’t always the case with these 60s stories.
You can read more about the story here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Celestial_Toymaker
and the wife in space blog’s verdict is here http://wifeinspace.com/2011/05/the-celestial-toymaker/
End Theme is Dr Who(Band Aid version)
The show is now on Facebook please join the group for exclusive behind the scenes insights and of course also discuss and feedback on the show https://www.facebook.com/groups/187162411486307/
If you want to send me comments or feedback you can email them to tdrury2003@yahoo.co.uk or contact me on twitter where I'm @tdrury or send me a friend request and your comments to facebook where I'm Tim Drury and look like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/tdrury/3711029536/in/set-72157621161239599/ in case you were wondering.

Big Blue Box Podcast - Episode 28
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastHey Who fans! It's a creepy-village-vibe this week as review a Pertwee classic. A great news round-up puts our opinions to the test but first, cue the scary wind...
[powerpress]
The News
Maybe Chris Eccleston isn't so bad where it concerns Who fans? In light of recent events with Eccleston hanging up the phone during an interview when questioned about Doctor Who, a video has surfaced which shows him more than willing to help out a surprise engagement. Does this alter your opinion on Eccleston's attitude towards the show? Let us know.
Great news! LEGO have announced that a Doctor Who set will be on it's way later this year. After a surprisingly long wait the LEGO guys have finally accepted the a submission from one of the "LEGO Ideas" that happen each year. Good work Andrew Clarke for designing such a cool set that will now be released at some point this year.
The very cool online game The Doctor and the Dalek which is used to teach children how to code has now been released on tablets on the Apple, Amazon and Google Play stores so you can give it a go while on the move (or the sofa). It's a great game and Mr Capaldi himself recorded the audio.
Those chaps over at Big Finish have announced an amazing 6th Doctor story coming up later this year. Doctor Who: The 6th Doctor - The Last Adventure, as you can tell from the title, is a proper regeneration story for old "sixie". During his time on the TV show he was never granted a regeneration story or a fitting ending to his tenure so this looks to rectify that with the usual quality and love Big Finish are known for. Featuring a raft of the 6th Doctor's past companions and The Valeyard too, we can't wait for this story to land. Pre-orders at the ready!
"The Daemons" Review
We jump in the Tardis and hop back to 1971 and Devil's End to look at this Pertwee classic. Creepy settings, witchcraft, village cult, evil little statues and The Master. Sound like a good story? Listen to hear our thoughts on this 3rd Doctor classic Who adventure. If you want more information on the fantastic setting for this story, check out our very own Adam's YouTube video "The Search for Devils End".
It's been a blast once again talking all things Who. With all the talk of Eccleston recently we're going to review a series 1 story next week - The Unquiet Dead. Be sure to jump over to Facebook and Twitter with your opinions. Until next time - Allons-y!!!
