Extra Scoop 003: Time Edified
The Time Scoop PodcastHost M.A. Solko has just wrapped up 3 days at Time Eddy, a new convention held in Wichita, KS. Among the many guests was Doctor Who Season 24-26 Script Editor Andrew Cartmel. Mr. Cartmel was kind enough to sit with us for an interview and went above & beyond as a guest! Take a listen as he discusses his tenure on the show, as well as upcoming project The Vinyl Detective: Written in Dead Wax.
I also met with podcasters from the show Traveling the Vortex who provided us with a lot of great feedback. Their show focuses on two long-term Whovians introducing a new fan to the series, both classic and contemporary. Their show is a lot of fun and worth checking out! http://travelingthevortex.com/
Contest!
You can retweet one of our tweets for this episode or comment on this post for a chance to win a CD Copy of Andrew Cartmel's Big Finish audio play Crime of the Century. There is a maximum of one tweet entry and one comment entry per individual. The deadline to enter is November 5, 2015. A winner will be chosen at random from those who have commented or retweeted!

Episode 249 - More Clever Through Osmosis
Traveling the VortexIn this week’s episode we examine the latest installment in what is shaping up to be a stellar Series 9 as we review Under the Lake. We give our impression of the first part of what will be a 2 part story line.
Also, we look at some of the news of the week and give our reactions, including some big news out of Big Finish involving the War Doctor, the Eighth Doctor and The Time War. Exciting stuff is on the horizon from the company that beings us some great Doctor Who audio plays.
Plus, some news about a spin-off series from Doctor Who.
And of course, your feedback.
Enjoy!

Under The Lake
PodcasticaJohn and Taylor find themselves in the middle of a literal ghost story in this week's episode of PODcastica! We discuss the crew The Doctor and Clara come across, how insanely creepy the ghosts are, the TARDIS hand break, and the softening of Capaldi's Doctor (not a bad thing). Also: Could "Under The Lake" be one of the best(if not the best) stories of the modern Who era? We discuss that, and much more!
-
SPOILERS!-Season 9 Episode 3
Playing Doctor: A Doctor Who PodcastEditor’s Note: Ben is a bad person. Ben failed to check the audio equipment prior to recording and this week’s Spoilers! episode was recorded using the built-in mic on his laptop instead of the nice fancy podcasting microphone that Jennie and Ben were talking to during this episode. Ben is being punished as we speak.
Another spoiler episode as Jennie and Ben discuss season 9, episode 3, “Under the Lake”. If you were expecting a discussion about the Little Mermaid song “Under the Sea” you will be disappointed.
The season continues its trend of two part episodes with this Toby Whithouse thriller. We don’t want to give away too much in the description but there are GHOSTS and we don’t think they’re old man Jenkins in disguise this time Scooby-Doo fans.

Terminus Podcast -- Episode 11 - Sunglasses at Night: The Witch's Familiar
Terminus: A Doctor Who PodcastDespite some trials with illness and internet issues (curses, Mercury Retrograde!), this intrepid podcaster has finally prevailed and so thus, this episode is finally done and dusted and ready for your consumption. BUILD HIGH FOR HAPPINESS! Oh, wait...that's another story.
Anyway, within you will find my discussion of the conclusion of the S8 opening story, "The Witch's Familiar". Admittedly, I get a bit punch-drunk and somewhat naughty at points (woo, cold medicine!), so the listen might be entertaining or even frightening by some of your standards, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
So, yeah, I hope you all will join me on this episode, as I gush about our newest exciting episode of Doctor Who. And, as always, glad to have you all aboard. Enjoy the ride!

MUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast 95 - "Under The Lake"
Mutter's Spiral PodcastMUTTER'S SPIRAL returns to talk about "Under the Lake", the 3rd episode of DOCTOR WHO Series 9! It's a proper scary episode, and we talk about the scares, our love of the Doctor's quippiness, our concern for Clara, and, of course, that CLIFFHANGER and what it all means. Plus, news and trivia!
Also, we speculate pretty heavily on part 2 of this story at the end of the podcast, so if you don't want to listen to that, you'll be able to tell when it starts (right at the very end).
Please come listen!

Episode 140: Radiation Gloves
The TARDIS Tavern51 years before Clara climbed inside of a Dalek, Ian Chesterton did the same thing. The Daleks of yesteryear didn't fly, travel in time or space, and relied on static electricity to get around. This time around we settle on an all-too-familiar planet and discuss "The Daleks", the story that started Britain's obsession with the exterminating pepper pots. Does "The Daleks" stand the test of time, or is it as clunky as William Hartnell's line bloopers?

Radio Free Skaro #496 - The Underwater Menace
Radio Free SkaroDoctor Who dives beneath the waves for “Under the Lake,” a base under siege story with ghosts, flash cards and British Sign Language….but what did Steven, Warren and Chris think of the first part of this soggy saga? More to the point, what is their hot take on “Class,” the just announced Doctor Who spin-off to be produced next year by BBC Wales(possibly at the expense of Doctor Who)? And as if that wasn’t enough, we also have Steven interviewing Clara Oswald herself, Jenna Coleman, recorded live onstage at Edmonton Expo!

Episode 89: Sacrifice Sarah to Davros
Trust Your DoctorAll hail the mighty Davros. I think.
This week Kiyan and Dylan accidentally shoe-horn Davros into a non-Dalek serial. Actually, Dylan won’t lie, he chose this title for the sweet, sweet SEO. This week the non-Dalek serial that they covered was The Masque of Mandragora, written by Lewis Marks and aired in September of 1976.

Description: It's the search for spooks on this week's episode of 'Doctor Who'. That's right, in an underwater facility, the Doctor and Clara run into what actually appears to be genuine ghosts...but...are they really?
