MUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast 130 - "Extremis"
Mutter's Spiral PodcastMUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast is back, and we're discussing the mind-bending new DOCTOR WHO Episode "Extremis", written by Steven Moffat & directed by Daniel Nettheim (S 10 Ep 06). We will dive into the episode and look at it from every angle we can - both the flashbacks with Missy & Nardole (proxy for River) as well as the main thread of the story with Bill, Nardole, the Pope, Cardinal Angelo, CERN, et al. We pick at the details that tripped us up, potentially, and John gives me a great solution for one of the main troubles I had! We puzzle over how we'd react if we were in such a situation, as well. There's also of course trivia (and a puntastic opening). Plus...
We have new theme music! It's a track called "Ecstasy" from Purple Planet:
Music: http://www.purple-planet.com
Check out their site, lots of cool stuff!
Have a listen, won't you!
PS - Sorry for the lateness this week - a cold got John! He's all better now.

Ep. 70 - Extremis
GeeklecticStephen and Andy explore the metaphysical properties of the universe, the eternal debate between science and faith, and the ethics of virtual suicide. Or *do* they? Is it all an illusion? Does any of this matter? Is Nardole the Meddling Monk? Are the Monks the Cybermen? Are the Cybermen my real Dad? I have no idea what's happening in this one, folks, but there's a parody of that song from Portal and a new edition of Kids Talk Who, so that's nice.

TDP 675: TV DOCTOR WHO 2017 EP06 Extremis
Tin Dog Podcast@TinDogPodcast reviews #DOCTORWHO 2017 - EP06 #Extremis "Extremis" is the sixth episode of the tenth series of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It is written by Steven Moffat and was broadcast on 20 May 2017 on BBC One. "Extremis" received extremely positive reviews from television critics, with many praising Peter Capaldi's performance and Steven Moffat's script, though some commented on the complicated script. The Vatican calls upon the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) to investigate the Veritas, a book for which its readers typically kill themselves after reading it. When the Veritas is translated and leaked online, the Doctor must uncover the dark secret that the book holds. It is the first of three loosely connected episodes called "The Monks Trilogy".[1]

ZEUS PLUG - Extremis
Zeus PodWe're warning you now - this week's episode of Zeus Plug sounds like a real episode, but you'll find by the end of it that it's actually just a prelude to next week's episode which is in itself part of a three-part Zeus Plug epic. Maybe. Failing the Shadow Test with Jono Park this week are Neil Perryman & JR Southall. Contains someone that may or may not be Lalla Ward (or Polly James... or Zoe), Broadchurch broadsides and possibly the last What's in the Vault?

Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who PodcastWhen we learned just before the start of Series 10 that Steven Moffat opted to begin and end the season with his own penned episodes, it came as no surprise. After all, it was becoming the expected fashion for the showrunner, and none would have expected anything less in his final tenured season. Upon hearing that he would check in mid-series with the start of a three-part arc, however, our collective ears stood up. Something complex and fascinating was in the […]

Terminus: A Doctor Who PodcastGreetings Earthlings!
This is Narco, from the planet Vicodin. The human in charge of this podcast has just been released from false imprisonment, as we had originally believed it was impersonating our Grand Senator Krog Krog, but was in fact just incapacitated from a recent primitive human surgery.
This recording was found on its person and is -- as the human says -- several weeks out of date. We have given the recording back to the human as it does not seem to contain anything that is a threat to our race according to our analysts. Please accept our apologies for the delay in this transmission as we hope to maintain peace with your world.
May Vicodin sing in the seven sunsets and the Great Krog Krog prevail always!
