In Memory of William RussellThe Doctor Who PodcastEarlier this week, the Whoniverse lost one of it’s ‘founder members’ as William Russell passed away. William played Ian Chesterton in the early of years of Doctor Who, from 1963 to 1965. Join Michele and James as they recount their memories of William in Doctor Who before handing over to Brent and Drew who interviewed him in person at a US convention in 2018. The interview first went out on the Who and Company podcast as part of their convention coverage, and it’s wonderful to hear William so relaxed in his conversation. Rest in Peace William, and thank you for the unforgettable memories. Neither you or your contribution to Doctor Who will be forgotten. We are Most Grateful.

Episode 97: Cut to The ChaseSomething WhoAfter a brush with conspiracy theories, here we are back with Something Who podcast Episode 97 with Doctor Who fandom's own musical maestro, Jess Jurkovic, joining Rick, Giles and Richard. We look at 1st Doctor story The Chase from the original Season 2, and after that examine 15th Doctor story The Devil's Chord from the new Season 1. This episode consists of the first half of that conversation, featuring The Chase. Please like or share our podcast with people who will enjoy it, so we can build our listener base high for happiness. You can rate us directly on Apple Podcasts or Podchaser.com Jess is a brilliant pianist and has an extraordinary YouTube channel on which you can find his amazing The Dudley Simpson IS Doctor Who Project. Rick posts on social media as @brickpandorica, where you can find fantastic pictures of his Lego models of Doctor Who moments, such as the one forming our cover art this episode. Giles' book A History of the Universe in 21 Stars: (and 3 Imposters) can be found in all good bookshops and also here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/History-Universe-21-Stars-Imposters/dp/1787394654/ Richard has another podcast with co-hosts Emily & Nicola, called "If It's Hurting, It's not Working" and it's a fun and informative look at work - why we work, how we work, and what makes a great job. Go to https://ifhurtnotwork.podbean.com/ and https://ifhurtnot.work for more. We mention fairly extensively Gav Rymill's new video where he highlights some of the production errors in episode 6 of the Chase. If you've not seen it yet, you can find it here: https://youtu.be/cKpHYqe4LWM, with several other Chase-related videos on the same feed. The Something Who logo, which features prominently on all our cover art was designed for us by Bea Garrido. DWBRcast 262 - Dot and Bubble!DWBRcastUm episódio que dividiu opiniões!

#247 - It's a VibeDoctor Who: The Metebelis 2Russell T Davies has written a new Doctor Who story that he describes as Welsh folk horror in which he packs in a lot to 45 minutes, including the obligatory Susan Twist, creepy pub denizens, and an homage to other ghostly stories. We were a little surprised to have a Doctor-lite episode in a season that is a mere eight episodes long. What caused the Doctor to vanish? Is the fairy circle in the shape of the TARDIS console? Did that mysterious space and time machine somehow create the circle and the time loop? The opening is from a Wales tourism advertisement, and the closing is from "Witchy Woman" by the Eagles. We recorded this episode on 28 May 2024.

LifeforceWaffle On PodcastWaffle On about Lifeforce Oh this episode is a corker, its a divisional episode and its two against one becaue we have a special guest. We last saw him wearing a kilt and swinging a sword during our Highlander episode, well this time Mr David Ray is more sensibly dressed yet still full of passion. Kell is in agreement, Meds, not so much which of course makes great content. Patrick Stewart pops up in this along with some great effects (for its time) and a naked woman wondering around kissing people to death. Not a bad way to go all in all. As always please do share our podcast with anyone who can put up with us.
