Untempered Schism Podcast #190 : ...ish
The Untempered Schism PodcastWhat is a word really? It's a collection of sounds and meaning, but as the Sixth Doctor and Peri are about to find out, that can be very powerful. Even more so when the word itself is self aware and self replicating, infecting mind after mind. That just leaves one question, how do you stop an intelligent meme?

There Are No Spiders In This One
Doctor WhoochWHY WOULD YOU SUGGEST IT?
On this week's show, Brandon goes it alone... sort of... as Danica's phobia of spiders comes into play. Thankfully, Kat from Verity is on hand, as a great guest host to talk about the series 11 episode... (checks papers) "Arachnids in the U.K." Which is almost definitely about space unicorns and not spiders. Almost definitely.
Outro music is a metal cover of Sex and the City we found on the internet.

145 - A Rosa By Any Other Name
Arrow of TimeIt’s been a while since Doctor Who meant something beyond how clever the show runner could be (or thought they were). And certainly we’ve encountered historical figures before, but perhaps none so influential as Rosa Parks. The most recent episode “Rosa” might be from our friends across the pond, but they leave no doubt that she changed the world… and beyond. Forgive us if we eschew some of our usual jokey times fun – even The Arrow of Time can be serious, especially when an episode set in the past all too clearly highlights the issues of today.

Doctor Who - Ep207: It's the Double Whammy Review Show!
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastWelcome to Episode 207...
No news or merch this week.
"Rosa" Review
A proper historical for what seems like ages in Who. Important subject matter and some emotional stuff to behold but does The Chibbers handle this well and with respect? And..."Arachnids in the UK" Review
After the previous emotional bomb from the last episode, we need a good old "creature feature". Did this deliver a decent scare show in time for Halloween or is this a case of Arach-miss in the UK? Thank you so much for joining us for 207. Next week the review train carries on with our review of -The Tsuranga Conundrum. Until then have a brilliant week and until next time - Allons-y!

Here it comes crawling up the chain
Who's He?This week Phil and not so much Paul sit on their chairs with their feet up off the floor in terror to look at episode 4 of Doctor Who, Arachnids in the UK. So after 3 pretty solid episodes, does this story make it 4 out of 4 for our reviewing duo or does it get flushed down the sink like all spiders should (according to Phil that is)?
And in the news this week we say goodbye to ex Doctor Who producer Derrick Sherwin, there's stats in Omega's Stats Corner and there is tat of the sweetie kind in Omega's Tat Corner that causes Phil and Paul to become confused.
