Tin Dog Podcast@tindogpodcast reviews This title was released in August 2019. It will be exclusively available to buy from the Big Finish website until October 31st 2019, and on general sale after this date. Megwyn Jones is one of the most hated women in Britain. She used to run a home for troubled children in an isolated part of Snowdonia called The Hope. #126 - The Professional
Doctor Who: The Metebelis 2This week we pay our respects to Terrance Dicks, the script editor and writer, who made such an enormous impact on Doctor Who and, in turn, our lives. From Target novelisations, to script editing, to original stories, Terrance Dicks was the quintessential professional who lent credibility to every Who-related project he was associated with. Also please donate to Save the Children, in memory of Terrance. Opening this episode is Dicks describing the Doctor's character from the 1993 documentary "Thirty Years in the TARDIS". Closing music is "Eye of Orion" composed by Peter Howell for "The Five Doctors" and followed by former producer Barry Letts asking Dicks how he'd would like to be remembered from "Terrance Dicks: Fact & Fiction" and a brief riff from Dudley Simpson from "Carnival of Monsters".

Terrance Dicks (14 April 1935 - 29 August 2019)
The Doctor Who ShowTerrance Dicks was born 14th April 1935 and passed away 29th August 2019, aged 84, leaving a figurative hole in the heart of Doctor Who fans of a certain age around the globe.
We at the Doctor Who Show were both massive fans of 'Uncle Terrance', to the degree that we joyfully dedicated a whole episode of the podcast to him back in January, 2019.
Tonight, we take that audio and add some new comments recorded today, within 24hrs of hearing the news, so we can - in some small way - pay a final tribute to the great man.
We also hope if there are listeners of ours out there who are wanting to remember Terrance in the days ahead, then perhaps this audio file will be an uplifing and maybe even fun way to look back on his awesome career and fantastic body of work.
Vale, Terrance.

Terminus Podcast -- Episode 32 -- The Spark Joy Series: The Room is Yours: Heaven Sent
Terminus: A Doctor Who PodcastOn this episode, I continue my happy foray into my new Falling-in-Love-with-Doctor-Who-Again series -- again called "Spark Joy," because I'm a dork – with a very squeeful and, honestly, a little bit vulnerable review of my favorite Twelfth Doctor story, "Heaven Sent". And, yes, because of who I am as a person, I do go on quite a bit about it, so you just might want to get comfortable. Maybe find a really comfy chair and perhaps a nice tasty snack to enjoy while listening. Or perhaps just a long trip in the car will suffice. You do you.
Oh, and, in addition to all of that loquacious squee for "Heaven Sent," there's also even more squee within my Happy Fandom Time segment with mentions of a new podcast guest spot, some new Doctor Who things I've bought recently that I loving, but especially lots of squee, in particular, in the case of some long and juicy listener feedback that I start to tackle (but couldn't finish answering this time round, sadly, because apparently I talk way too much. #homegirlyounevershutup).
So, hold onto your hats, everyone, and enjoy the ride! I'm so glad to have you all aboard again on this Love Train! #choochoo

You do you.
