This week, the Wanderers join the Doctor and Martha for a trip to New New York in the year 5 billion and 53. Things have gone awry here since the Doctor's last visit, and many of the citizens have gone to the motorway -- a permanent traffic jam from which no one ever returns! The Doctor and Martha must discover why, help the motorists, and uncover another cryptic clue to the Doctor's future!

The News

An unreleased spin-off adventure from the mid-ninteis titles Downtime is due to be released on the 16th November. Starring Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and Elizabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, they investigate a sinister school run by Professor Travers along with the Great Intelligence. There has been some legal disputes but hopefully we’ll pick this up next month.

Another Lethbridge-Stewart related story. The third book Beast of Fang Rock is out today! Continuing on from the first two books in this series you can order from the Cookie Jar publishing site now. These books are an awesome read so go and get stuck in.

“The Girl Who Died” Review

Vikings, aliens, battles, faces explained and electric eels. After a really strong start to series 9 does this story retain the magic or do we fall in the mud, ready for the Mire to come get us?
