Dan Starkey: Interview from L.I. Who 3
Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who PodcastDan Starkey had a moment to ponder what American television programs his repertoire of characters could make appearances in. Seconds later, he popped up excitedly: “The ‘Big Bang Theory’ would be wonderful. Strax and Sheldon Cooper would clash brilliantly.” He drops immediately into the Sontaran’s eloquent grumble. “I fail to see any demarcation on this seat indicating that it is, in fact, ‘your spot’, human filth.” Given only a few minutes to talk to Mr. Starkey on the opening day of […]

Big Blue Box Podcast - Episode 66
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastHey Who fans! Tissues at the ready for this one as we review Face the Raven but first some news and a competition!
The News
This week sees Doctor Who celebrate 52 years of broadcasting. It only feels like yesterday we were all celebrating the 50th anniversary which is crazy but overall what a massive achievement by all involved over the years bringing us Who. Here’s to many more years.
Some casting news – Matt Lucas of Little Britain fame and Greg Davies from the Inbetweeners have been cast for this year’s Christmas Special. It’s been hit and miss with predominantly comedic actors seen in Who (Peter Kay maybe?) so we shall see how this goes. Fingers crossed!
Competition
We have a collection of 6 new Doctor Who books up for grabs! Just head over to our Facebook page and tell us your favourite Who story. The winner will be announced next week, good luck.
“Face the Raven” Review
It was always going to be a sad one as we say goodbye to Clara and the Doctor is left alone once more. This episode also saw the return of Ashilda as the meddling immortal but now she’s gone and done it! Does this leave us wanting more and wanting Clara back or are we up for a bit of companion change?
This week’s trivia question
Last week we asked you – Before his death, what planet does Adric say he wants to be taken to? The answer is – Terradon.
This week’s question is – Who reportedly told the Doctor that he looked better in a cloak? Give us your answer in the comments below or post it on Twitter or Facebook. Good luck!
An emotional one this week and thank you again for your thoughts and audio clips. Next week looks very interesting and remember to let us know of any conventions you’re going to next year. Until next week – Allons-y!

Series 9 Minisode 7: Your Father Was A Donkey And Your Momma Was A Horse - Get Off My World! - A Doctor Who Podcast
Get Off My WorldIn Minisode 7: Your Father Was A Donkey And Your Momma Was A Horse, the boys have mixed feelings about The Zygon Invasion by Peter Harness. Listen as they discuss hybrid pack animals, Pat’s least favorite scene in all of Doctor Who, the increasingly provocative charms of Osgood, and, of course, the Moon Dragon.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 074 // Dead Inside (and Outside?)
Doctor WhoochIn which
So we all know what happens in this episode, right? Like, we're all on board? Because there's going to be some spoilers. Just... clllllll kinds of them. So.
This week, Brandon and Danica are talking about "Face The Raven" - the 10th episode of Doctor Who's 9th series. Maisie Williams is there! That's not really a spoiler. Well it is, but... hey, you know what? Let's not beat around the bush here. You know why you're downloading this. You want to hear drunk people talk about the thing that happened. Well, we do! So yay? Oh, and then we wax poetic about Jessica Jones, because you guys, Jessica Jones is amazing and heartbreaking. Yeah.
Outro music is "Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult.

DIDDLY DUM PODCAST 046 - Snug No More
Diddly Dum PodcastThe white heat of technology is called upon to save the day this week as, while Doc and Hayden sit warm in The Whoseum, poor Matt still hasn’t got away from work. So during their review of the Doctor Who episodes “Sleep No More” and “Face the Raven”, one third of the Four Faces of Delusion contributes via his phone while dashing around the former Coronation Street set putting out the lights and locking the doors, and then from the top deck of the Number 192 bus during a hair-raising journey along the A6.
Along the way, we hear how Matt avoided a Judy Finnegan moment during his own Oscars moment, we cover the BBC’s 1970s child-scarer “The Changes” and its relevance even today for bringing communities together, we bemoan Doctor Who’s habit of giving us rubbish soldiers and we debate the correct plural of hiatus.

120 - A Nightmare on Trap Street
Arrow of TimeWell, it’s that time again. The air is crisp, the leaves have changed, variations of turkey are being served, and we end the run of another companion… or do we!? It’s hard to say… or is it!? One thing is for sure, Joseph, Matt, and Gabe aren’t buying into the hype just yet as they pick apart “Face The Raven.” So listen to The Arrow of Time sift through this episode as some might ravage through the stuffing from their Tofurky, or Turducken, or their Toduckahedron (that’s a chicken-duck-turkey with 12 faces made of tofu).

Trust Your DoctorFun fact: Incursion is spelt with an I.
This was originally recorded as part of a potential (but at the time unconfirmed) December/January hiatus. Since then it’s been confirmed that the hiatus will not be necessary. And now it’s being released as a “thanksgiving” special. If you needed something to be thankful for, you can now be thankful for more Trust Your Doctor. You’re welcome.

Episode 105 - Getting a tattoo you will regret for the rest of your life!
Outpost Skaro PodcastDerek, Martin and Andy face the raven and the Doctor’s 52nd Birthday. And just what did Moffat, Capaldi and Gatiss do down under that brought shame to them all?

Ep 96 - Face the Ravenclaw
Doctor Who: Verity! We may not be quite sure whether this is truly the end for Clara, but we all agree that "Face the Raven" is a fantastic story and a great debut by writer Sarah Dollard. Join Deb, Lynne, and Tansy as we evaluate character departures, discuss character motivation, and touch on Steven Moffat's commitment issues. We examine Clara Oswald's arc and try to determine whether she was running toward death or running from grief. We also discuss the themes of morality throughout Series 9 because, why not? (I think it's safe to say we loved this one.)
What did you think of "Face the Raven"? Do you think Clara met a fitting end or did her death feel too slight or insignificant? Do you think Mayor Me is the other side of the Doctor's morality or just a misguided villain? Let us know in the comments!

Also covered [links on our site]:
- Tansy is captivated by the Doctor Who version of the Bayeux Tapestry depicting 50 years of the show
- Lynne is greatly amused by the gifs and photos of Messrs. Capaldi, Moffat and Gatiss coming in THIRD in a Doctor Who pub quiz at the Doctor Who Festival in Australia.
- Deb got a frisson of nostalgia/joy/excitement at hearing the Big Finish Preview for the upcoming tenth Doctor and Donna Noble audios. She also started listening to Unit - Extinction in hopes of resurrecting her Kate Lethbridge-Stewart love.
