Trust Your DoctorHow does cloning even work? I don’t understand.
Alternate title: Killing is the Most Perfect Form of Distraction. Such is life I suppose. This week Kian and Dylan talk about clone. No, not Orphan Black, it’s The Invisible Enemy, written by Bob Baker and David Martin and aired in October of 1977. Neither of us have even watched Orphan Black.

2MTL 400: "Face the Raven" Reviewed
Two-minute Time LordThe 400th episode of 2MTL coincides with the swan song of one Clara Oswald (and Chip is blissfully unaware of spoilers or synopses for the next two episodes, so he's going to hold to that position for now). And as modern companion departures go, there's been no equal.
Check out Chip on The Incomparable Network's TeeVee podcast episode 118 for a longer conversation about "Face the Raven" with host Jason Snell.

Tim's Take On: Episode 306(Doctor Who: Face The Raven review)
Tim's Take On...It was time to bid farewell to Clara in Doctor Who: Face The Raven, Maisie Williams also made a welcome return though some not me don't seem to like her acting. Possibly a brave decision to kill off Clara but the character had gone beyond mere risk taker into arrogance and may have been heading for a fall.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 073 // Sleepingtons
Doctor WhoochTo sleep, perchance to dream of a better episode.
On this week's show, Danica and Brandon drunkenly talk about this week's... interesting episode of Doctor Who - Series 9, Episode 9, "Sleep No More". Basically, we kind of make fun of it, because... sleep monsters? Or maybe a legitimately viral video? Or something. We were pretty drunk.
And as an added bonus, Brandon forgot to edit the podcast on his day off, so uh... there's that. Wait, is that what we call a "bonus"? Hmm.

Sleep No More
Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who PodcastThere are moments where the format of a long-running program needs to be shaken up, risks taken, and experiments conducted to see not only how far the limits can be pushed, but how far the audience will travel in that ‘concept car’. Mark Gatiss has certainly dropped a large amount of unfamiliar content, story structure and cinematic elements into his latest episode, and the response has been polarizing, to say the least. But in the end, does it even matter? This […]

Terminus Podcast -- Episode 15 - Pod People: The Zygon Invasion & The Zygon Inversion
Terminus: A Doctor Who PodcastComing to you a bit later than I'd planned (bad head cold + some Jessica Jones bingeing is a deadly combination for this podcaster, apparently), here is my episode discussion of the recent Zygon 2-parter. This was definitely one of my more personal episodes and certainly most political (which is admittedly odd to me), but then since the story was very political itself, I suppose it was somewhat hard to avoid? Oh, and this was also recorded before the recent Paris attacks, so any similarities to such discussions are entirely coincidental.
In this episode, I discuss identity politics (especially when it comes to Osgood), Zygons in the closet (likely not what you think), the awesomeness that is Jenna Coleman and Peter Capaldi, and revisiting the classic 'Terror of the Zygons'. Also included is some Harry Sullivan love, random music interjections, gratuitous skating references, some podcasting shout-outs, and probably way more than you ever needed to know about how I punch my Queer Card. Also, many coughs were sacrificed to the cutting room floor, but I still managed to come off sounding quite a bit gravely again due to my sore throat.
So, anyway, I hope you all will join me for my review and discussion of both 'The Zygon Invasion' and 'The Zygon Inversion'. And, as always, glad to have you all aboard. Enjoy the ride!

The Oncoming Storm Ep 162: Zamper, The 4 Doctors, The Eighth Doctor #1
The Oncoming StormSorry folks. No witty intro this week. Illness has decimated Oncoming Storm HQ, so just be glad we were able to get this episode out, although it's a day late. Anyway, episode 162 sees Josh, Ashley, Rachel, and Jeff talking about New Adventure #40, Zamper by Gareth Roberts. After that, it's comic talk again, with a look at the entire run of The 4 Doctors by Paul Cornell & Neil Edwards, as well as the first issue of The 8th Doctor, by George Mann and Emma Viecelli. We hope you enjoy. Now if you'll excuse me, we're going back to bed. The Oncoming Storm... This time, we've got the flu.

MHC #?18 Cutbits: Tres Companeez
Mostly Harmless Cutaway1 day until Face the Raven!
CUTBITS:
- And now for something completely different...
- Welcome to Mostly Harmless Cutaway Question Mark Ten Eight featuring Sean, Josh, and Eric. That's right boys and girls, once again we're delving into some very exclusive MHC: Cutbits(tm). A taste of some of those discarded pieces of tape lying on the edit bay floor that normally never see the light of day.
- In this Cutbit, a first of sorts, we present to you our 'found footage' episode. Back in the day, especially during year one, this feed used to be host to lots of strange bobs and bits, skits and shits. Eso si que es.
- Inside baseball: This Cutbit was actually culled from MHC #128 and occurs before/after/during and is inspired by our discussion of Sleep No More.
WARNING:
- This discussion contains miscellaneous Three's Company, K-9 and Company, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures, Sherlock, Class, new WHO, and/or classic SPOILERS pertaining to Doctor Who. If you are 100% spoilerphobic to new & classic episodes not yet seen, do NOT complain to us. This episode is MOSTLY HARMLESS & contains EXPLICIT ideas, and as always expect strokes of innuendo throughout.
DISCLAIMER:
- All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
- This Cutbit was originally recorded November 17, 2015.
- It's been about 7 days since the last Cutbits episode.
- COMING SOON: MHC #123456789 Face the Raven...

Big Blue Box Podcast - Episode 65
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastWow what a weekend! We’re now recharged and relaxed after a very busy weekend at the Doctor Who Festival which we’ll give you the low-down on plus our review of Sleep No More. Episode 65 awaits!
The News
The series finales to series 9 Heaven Sent and Hell Bent will have extended run times according to the BBC. With the 55 minutes and 65 minutes respectively that’s a lot of Who time for TV which is great!
Big Finish have released boxset images for John Hurt’s War Doctor first adventure Only the Monstrous which you can also pre-order now for PS20. We suspect this one may be rather good so definitely a pre-order set.
“Sleep No More” Review
It’s always risky with Doctor Who when you try new things as we all found out with the Marmite episode Love and Monsters but is it a good thing that Mark Gatiss try’s out the now often sniffed at found footage approach? We think you’ll find our review of this one interesting and if someone finds this podcast many years in the future, we’re sure you’ll understand.
This week’s trivia question
Last week we asked you – What is the name of parallel-universe Jackie’s dog? The answer is – Rose.
This week’s question is – Before his death, what planet does Adric say he wants to be taken to? Give us your answer in the comments below or post it on Twitter or Facebook. Good luck!
It’s been a great episode and thank you for sticking with us. Some good stuff today and many bad points but hey, what’s what being a Who fan is all about, enjoying the many high points but also rolling with the low’s. Have a great week and enjoy Face the Raven tomorrow night. Until next week – Allons-y!

Live from L.I. Who 3
Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who Podcast“No changes are permanent / But change is.” Musician Neil Peart’s lyric from ‘Tom Sawyer’ may very well have been speaking of the Doctor Who program, a premise that, since the Troughton era, was built upon the idea of changes great and small. Recorded live from the Friday festivities at Long Island Doctor Who Con 3 (or L.I. Who 3, for short), we get a rare opportunity to chat directly with attending GPR listeners on the subject of intentional instability […]

MUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast 101 - "Sleep No More"
Mutter's Spiral PodcastMUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast is back, and we've got company! Our friend Shannon joins us to talk about her experience at LI Who 3, seeing Paul McGann, Katy Manning, Janet Fielding and others
We then get into a discussion about "Sleep No More", the latest DOCTOR WHO episode from the pen (keyboard?) of Mark Gatiss. This was one of the more experimental (and confusing) episodes of Doctor Who, so we talk about that, how it fits (or doesn't) in S9, what didn't really work for us, and what it might mean for the final 3 episodes.
We really enjoyed having Shannon on, as it led to some great discussion, and she has a lot to offer. Take a listen and hear for yourself!
