Tim's Take On: Episode 308(Doctor Who: Hell Bent/Lego Dimensions/Howl reviews)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 37 minutes and 24 secondsYou get three reviews for the price of one this week, as I get quite excited about the straight to video brit horror Howl, ramble on about Lego dimensions and get rather fan boy like whilst watching Doctor Who: Hell Bent this year's season finale which brought back the Timelords in style and finally pleased people like me that have been longing for a proper TARDIS interior since the show returned.

Tim's Take On: Episode 307(Doctor Who: Hell Bent review)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 8 minutes and 27 secondsOfficially the oddest episode in 52 years of Dr Who was Doctor Who: Hell Bent, 55 mins of The Doctor stuck in his own Chronic Hysterisis aka his own private hell a story that literally took him billions of years for him to experience, some people will really hate this one, I loved how brave it was and only the BBC would have allowed Stephen Moffatt to pull this off it was clearly a writing exercise on Moffatt's part and an acting one on Capaldi's. Great television, great Doctor Who? The jury's out, certainly unforgettable and unexpected so as far as I'm concerned not rubbish. Clearly thought provoking hence the lengthy show notes this week. Feel free to post comments to the facebook group it will be interesting to read listeners thoughts on this one. Love it or hate it folks?

Tim's Take On: Episode 306(Doctor Who: Face The Raven review)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 8 minutes and 51 secondsIt was time to bid farewell to Clara in Doctor Who: Face The Raven, Maisie Williams also made a welcome return though some not me don't seem to like her acting. Possibly a brave decision to kill off Clara but the character had gone beyond mere risk taker into arrogance and may have been heading for a fall.

Tim's Take On: Episode 305(Doctor Who: Sleep No More review)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 5 minutes and 54 secondsMark Gatiss's contribution to Doctor Who this year is rather different, the story Sleep No More is told entirely through found footage which only adds to it's claustrophobic atmosphere. I myself enjoyed it, but as you'll hear it's splitting others opinions.

Tim's Take On: Episode 303(Doctor Who: The Zygon Invasion)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 15 minutes and 43 secondsThe Zygons returned to the show this week with Doctor Who: The Zygon Invasion, Peter Harness somehow managed to write an urban thriller inspired by the current terrorist threat but also by cold war paranoia and Invasion of The Body Snatchers, next week's show will be at least 24 hours late as I'll be travelling when Dr Who airs but hopefully if everything goes to plan will include not only a review of The Zygon Inversion but also a brief chat with some visiting fellow Dr Who podcasters.

Tim's Take On: Episode 303(Doctor Who: The Zygon Invasion)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 15 minutes and 43 secondsThe Zygons returned to the show this week with Doctor Who: The Zygon Invasion, Peter Harness somehow managed to write an urban thriller inspired by the current terrorist threat but also by cold war paranoia and Invasion of The Body Snatchers, next week’s show will be at least 24 hours late as I’ll be travelling when Dr Who airs but hopefully if everything goes to plan will include not only a review of The Zygon Inversion but also a brief chat with some visiting fellow Dr Who podcasters.

Tim's Take On: Episode 302(Doctor Who: The Woman Who Lived review)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 9 minutes and 47 secondsMaisie Williams returned this week in Doctor Who: The Woman Who Lived a Clara lite episode with an interestingly alternative take on a Dr Who companion, also Rufus Hound was on guest star duties and provided a few laughs, second romp in a row I have a feeling the show will take a dark turn next week.

Tim's Take On: Episode 297(Doctor Who: The Magician's Appentice review)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 9 minutes and 45 secondsIn a highly unusual move the "great" british press actully got a plot leak correct for a change and this episode began with the Doctor meeting Davros as a child, it's enough to drive a timelord into hiding and Stephen Moffat's epic opening episode certainly gives his friends a task to find him, Missy is back too thankfully a tad less insane and a smidge more scheming.

Tim's Take On: Episode 296(Richard Marson, Nicholas Pegg and David Benson at Whooverville 7)
Episode Duration: 0 days, 0 hours, 46 minutes and 14 secondsJust over a week till Doctor Who returns as I type this but just enough time for a taster of this year's Whooverville convention. As ever Stephen Hatcher and his team put together a fine event, this time with even more dealers than before so I can home with quite a few target books for the shelf. But as ever there was room for podcasters to talk to the guests I was joined by Jean of The Staggering Stories podcast to talk to Richard Marson(TV Producer and writer of The Life & Scandalous Times of JNT and Drama & Delight: The Life of Verity Lambert), Nicholas Pegg(Dalek Actor), and David Benson(Actor in Dr Who: Robot of Sherwood and Big Finish's Iris Wildthyme series) with David Benson having recently played London Mayor Boris Johnson the conversion drifted from the BBC to Politics which certainly all three guests had a take on.
Also this week almost while we weren't looking another trailer was released to promote Dr Who Series 9.
