On a quiet Whovian news week, we test our memory of dialogue, trying to remember which character uttered a particular statement from the modern episodes. From phrases that could easily be a number of Doctor's regenerations, to companions that seem to make very similar observations, Keir puts on his ill-fitting gamekeeper's hat, and puts Jay and Haley to the test.

In a shortish podcast this week, we look forward to the Season 10 Blu-ray box-set, we look at how watching the box-sets already issued has caused us to re-evaluate those eras and we celebrate retro comics. We end the podcast by averting (or ignoring) a minor war before boarding the Diddly Dum airship to travel to the DWAS Capitol IV convention where we’ll be the official podcast this coming weekend.

And so the clock has run out. Like just totally. It’s not 11, it’s not 12, it’s just dead. Hands fell off. and nobody knows how to make clocks anymore since we all use digital clocks so I haven’t really been able to get it fixed. Bit of a bummer, you know that saying that a broken clock is right twice a day? Well turns out that only applies if your clock actually has hands. It’s The Time of the Doctor, written by Steven Moffat and aired on December 25, 2013.
